2025 HIGHLIGHTS
Karima Girls High School recently launched its 2025 candidates’ target in a vibrant and spiritually enriching ceremony led by the school chaplain, Rev. Major Samson Mburu Gachathi, who also serves as the Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Nyahururu. The event marked the official beginning of the students’ final journey towards their national exams, and the school took this opportunity to inspire and motivate the 2025 cohort.
The 2025 candidates were named “The Josephs,” drawing inspiration from the biblical figure Joseph, particularly from Genesis 39:2: “The Lord was with Joseph, so that he prospered and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.” This verse served as the cornerstone of the ceremony, emphasizing key qualities of resilience, faith, and trust in God, even in challenging circumstances. The story of Joseph, who overcame betrayal and adversity to rise to prominence, resonated with the students as a symbol of hope and perseverance.
Rev. Major Samson Mburu Gachathi’s message focused on the importance of maintaining integrity and a strong moral compass, regardless of the pressures students may face during their final year. He encouraged the candidates to emulate Joseph’s character—staying focused on their goals, working diligently, and trusting in God’s guidance throughout their journey.
The launch not only set the academic targets for the students but also reminded them of the spiritual foundation that Karima Girls instills in its learners. The occasion marked the beginning of a transformative year, with the school community rallying around the candidates, offering prayers, support, and encouragement for the road ahead. The 2025 class, united under the banner of “The Josephs,” embraced the challenge with renewed faith and determination.
